Bonny Green
Bonny Green is a dynamic and versatile vocalist with extensive performance experience in opera, musical theater, and choral music. She has brought to life roles such as Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro with Fargo-Moorhead Opera, Helene in Hindemith’s Hin und zurück, Ruth Putnam in The Crucible, and the Dew Fairy in Hänsel und Gretel. She has also studied and performed scenes as Adele (Die Fledermaus) and Zerlina (Don Giovanni).
Equally at home on the musical theater stage, Bonny has played leading roles including Maria in West Side Story and the title role in Cinderella. As a soloist, she has performed extensively with the world-renowned Concordia Choir and continues to sing in concerts and recitals throughout the Kansas City area.
Her vocal artistry has also been featured in premier ensembles such as Kantorei, and for fifteen years she served as the soprano cantor at St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church.
In addition to her performance work, Bonny is a seasoned educator and arts administrator. She was a valued voice instructor at the Kansas City School of Music from 2006 through 2025 and is currently serving as the Music Ministry Coordinator at Village Presbyterian Church.
