We invite you to join us again on July 26 at 2:00 pm for Wagner’s epic work, Die Walküre. In this story based on Norse mythology, forbidden love ignites a tragic chain of events as the Valkyrie Brünnhilde defies her father Wotan to protect the mortal Siegmund, leading to betrayal, punishment, and the beginning of her transformation.
Featuring a splendid cast of singers from Kansas City and beyond, this epic story and legendary music will thrill and inspire you within the majestic walls of the historic St. Mary's Episcopal Church.
The production will include two thirty-minute intermissions between Acts I-II and II-III. Refreshments will be available for purchase in the parish hall.
